We have howler monkeys living next to our house. When we talk to him, in his language, he talks back quite forcefully, sometimes spitting while howling.
Shirlene, you crack me up! “Hi baby!” made us laugh, then the quiet “Bobby, I’m recording this”. It was lovely to hear your voices, and the monkey’s too. 🙂 So glad you have internet now. Love and miss you!!!
This was hilarious! A national Geographic moment, hushed voices observing the Howler, aggressive vocalizations and behavioral movements on the part of the monkey, then a sharp eyed observation on the part of Bobby. What a crackup! Arden
Oh my goodness! Jess and I laughed so hard this morning … thank you for sharing the up close and personal National Geographic video clip with funniest home video type narrating! 🙂 Got to share it with our dear grandma Margie, she sat down just so amazed and seconds later following Bobby’s wonderful commentary burst out laughing.
Truly though, your posts are so wonderful for us all, giving us a better understanding for your life there and you don’t feel so far away! Keep’em coming! Oh, Jess wanted to know if you had a name for your boy monkey? 😉
